Key Lime Pie
Ingredients
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
5 tbsp of melted butter
½ cup sliced toasted almonds
2 eggs
2 14oz. cans of sweetened, condensed milk
1 cup lime juice
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tbls powerered sugar

Preparation of Crust
  • In a 9 inch pie plate, place the graham cracker crumbs, butter and almonds
  • Mush with your hands. 
  • Press evenly into the pie plate. 
  • Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until golden brown. 
  • Let cool completely.



Preparation of Filling
  • In a bowl add eggs, condensed milk and lime juice. 
  • Mix well and pour into cooled pie crust. 
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.


Preparation of Topping
  • Whip  1 cup of heavy whipping cream and 2 tbls powdered sugar in a bowl at high speed until soft peaks form. 
  • Spoon over pie.


Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Key Lime Pie

Pasta and Shrimp
Ingredients
1 Jar of Lucia’s Home Made Tomato Basil Sauce A Little Spicy
1 lb. penne pasta
1 lb. of peeled and deveined shrimp
½ cup vodka
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup parmesan cheese
Salt & red pepper to taste

Preparation
In a sauté pan, add one jar tomato sauce and vodka. 
Let simmer together for about 10 minutes covered.
Meanwhile cook the penne as directed on the box.
Add the shrimp to the sauce and cook for about 5-7 minutes. 
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Drain pasta and mix with the tomato sauce.
Add parmesan cheese and serve.
