Lucia starts her exotic adventure with a visit to IndAroma in Annandale, Virginia. Abhishek Handa, Operations Manager and head chef cooks Lucia a wonderful Indian meal: Hand-made Nan in a Tandoori oven, Lamb Seekh Kabob with mint sauce and tamarined chutney, Butter Chicken, and Spinach Paneer, Lucia is also invited to Abhishek's wedding reception to enjoy a wide variety of Indian food and pastries.
Café Divan, located in upper Georgetown, serves distinctive Turkish fare in an elegant and cozy dining atmostphere. Chef and owner, Cavit Ozturk prepares traditional Turkish lamb and veal Iskender Kebab, Lucia and friends celebrate birthday's with lamb shanks and eggplant, shrimp shish kebab with curry sauce. Song (means bringing two things together) and Que (mean hometown) offers a fusion of traditional French and Viet Namese cuisine. Song Que has a great selection of Vietnamese-styled sandwiches, sweet on-the-go finger foods, refreshing smoothies, and also offers an appetizing menu for catering.

Lucia helps owner, Lieu Lai, make a banh mi, a meat filled sandwich, and the popular durian bubble drink. Lieu gives a tour of the deli's dessert and vegetarian bars.
The Italian Store is a family owned gourmet Italian Speciality Shop, owned and operated by the Tramonte family for over 30 years. Specializing in hard to find Italian products, from homemade style ravioli and pasta, to fresh cheese, meat, to unique Italian wines, the Italian Store has the products you cannot find anywhere else.  

The deli offers made to order Italian subs and gourmet sandwiches, fresh New York style pizza, and ready-to-go entrées. Nino shows Lucia how he makes his famous pizza dough.

Lucia visits two of her favorite Irish Pubs. The Auld Shebeen, in the heart of Fairfax. after hours speekeasy. Moe Atari, head chef, takes Lucia into the kitchen to prepare Seared Sesame Salmon.
